Report “Digital Transformation in Poland 2024”

At Future.Company, we believe that the term “digital transformation” does not fully capture the situation we are currently in. We should rather talk about business transformation in the digital age. This is the actual state in which companies, enterprises, or corporations must find themselves today.

Olgierd Cygan, Managing Partner

Exactly three years ago, in June 2021, the research agency Kantar Polska conducted a study commissioned by us entitled “The State of Digital Transformation in Poland.” One hundred individuals holding top managerial positions in medium-sized enterprises in Poland participated in the study. It gave us an insight into the direction companies were heading during the pandemic in terms of creating competitiveness in a digitized world.

Building a competitive edge for enterprises based on digitization, moving away from analog systems for selling products and services, and changing the traditional thinking of management seemed to be just “in their infancy” at the time. Today, nearly three years later, we decided to revisit the topic and check how the understanding and awareness of these phenomena have evolved over time.

We invited top managers from seven sectors – financial, insurance, manufacturing, processing, resource management, trade, and telecommunications – to provide expert insights on how the digital transformation process in Poland might continue to unfold. They agreed to share their substantive observations and unique experiences with us.
